Our High Protein Chakki Atta is a multigrain atta made with High protein grain, legume and pulses mix (Soyabean, Green gram and chickpeas) - (70%), Whole wheat (30%). It has 27 gms protein in 100gms flour, which is sufficient to make 3 chapatis, it also has rich fibre. By consuming 3-4 chapatis you can fulfill 35%-45% of your daily protein requirement ( As per IRDA standard for an adult with 2000 KCal daily requirement).. This protein atta helps you consume protein in the most natural way by becoming a part of your daily eating habits rather than any extra effort of consuming protein drinks and protein substitutes. In case you are involved in workouts etc which makes your protein need much higher and you need to depend on external food for the same, this will still complement your protein need. Its protein to carb ratio is very balanced which means while consuming your proteins you dont have to add lot of carbs to your diet. Among the available options this is also a very inexpensive protein per gram and the cost comes to just Rs 1.33 per gm protein in comparison to Rs 5-6 per gm protein in protein based supplements. It has 2.5X protein than your regular mill quality wheat flour. It has all 9 amino acids.Histidine, Isoleucine, Leucine, Lysine, Methionine, Phenylalanine, Threonine, Tryptophan, and Valine. These nine are critical for protein synthesis, tissue repair, and immune function.
Taste, Texture, flavour and usage instructions
Naturally dense texture with a Nutty, Earthy & Rich taste. Easy to roll in general but slightly firmer in comparison to wheat chapati. Rotis may feel slightly firmer compared to wheat varieties. It is recommended to eat chapatis fresh as they are cooked and it may not be good for storage and eating later. In case you want softer chapatis, then you may consider adding more wheat atta to it, it may reduce the protein content though.
